I’m in Texas today at a place called Land of my Grandfathers. I wanted to share it with you.
These stones circle this property and hold space for people to do their work of transformation as a rite of passage.
I feel really blessed to be part of the Mankind Project and the new Warrior Training Adventure. I have a chance to learn about myself in those spots that I don’t even see.
Before I started the video, I was thinking, “I’ve got to have the right thing to say and how to say it.”
What’s coming up for me is my privilege as a white, straight man. And really owning that and a feeling of I’ve got a lot of work to do around that. That’s the encouragement for all of you out there to know that, one, if you’re of difference, that it is truly okay to celebrate your differences. And to know that together we can go through what we need to actually experience, celebrating our differences, and really honoring each other for who we are as individuals and as the collective oneness.
I was always that guy, “There’s no difference. We’re all the same.”
And we are all the same, we’re all one love. AND we are different.
Celebrate your differences; speak about them, own them. That’s my job for myself as being dyslexic and ADD, really to bring that out.
